At the signing ceremony, Associate Professor, Dr. Tang Chi Thuong - Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health - said that currently, the digital transformation of practice management work in the medical field is very important.
According to Mr. Tang Chi Thuong, managing false advertisements online is very difficult, while managing violating establishments that challenge state management agencies and constantly change their locations of operation is equally difficult. Therefore, the health sector of the provinces must promote digital transformation.
"Digital transformation in practice management in the healthcare sector helps people and medical staff to conveniently examine, treat and manage information, saving time and effort.
In the coming time, the Ho Chi Minh City health sector will promote experience sharing and support the Central provinces in this field," Associate Professor, Dr. Tang Chi Thuong added.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Tu Cong Hoang - Vice Chairman of Binh Dinh Provincial People's Committee - acknowledged that Binh Dinh is very grateful for the support of Ho Chi Minh City and the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health for the province in the past time.
Especially in the context of the recent COVID-19 epidemic, the support of the Ho Chi Minh City health sector in providing information, sharing experiences in epidemic prevention and supporting medical equipment for Binh Dinh province has made an important contribution to protecting public health and maintaining stability in people's lives.
The Vice Chairman of Binh Dinh Provincial People's Committee hopes that through this medical cooperation signing ceremony, Ho Chi Minh City will continue to support the Central provinces in strengthening disease surveillance and warning.
"Technology transfer between end-line hospitals in Ho Chi Minh City and hospitals and medical facilities in the Central provinces is really important. This will help improve the quality of medical examination and treatment in the locality, reduce the burden on large hospitals in Ho Chi Minh City and help people save money," said Mr. Hoang.
