The “Ring the Golden Bell” contest attracted 90 contestants who are students from secondary schools in the area. The contest consisted of 3 rounds, from 90 contestants, the Organizing Committee selected 15 contestants for round 2 and 6 contestants for round 3. The contestants answered questions related to the topics of history, national heroes, the country and people of Vietnam... In round 3, the contestants competed to express their feelings about the book they loved and were most satisfied with. As a result, the Organizing Committee awarded 1 first prize, 2 second prizes, 3 third prizes and 9 consolation prizes to the contestants in the Top 15 who answered the most questions correctly.
In addition to the above contest, 400 students from primary and secondary schools in the area also participated in the meaningful Book Reading Festival. At the festival, students read books, participated in fun activities, answered quizzes with prizes, visited exhibitions of books, pictures, etc.
This is one of the meaningful activities in response to Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day (April 21) this year. Thereby, creating a joyful, useful, healthy playground and enriching extracurricular learning activities for students; encouraging and creating reading habits among the people, especially the young generation, thereby contributing to developing a reading culture in the community.
