Thu Dau Mot City: Many households and individuals with achievements in voluntary blood donation are honored and rewarded.

(BDO) On April 17, the Thu Dau Mot City Red Cross Society (RCS) held a conference to review voluntary blood donation (VBD) activities in 2024; honor and reward individuals and households with 5 and 10 voluntary blood donation achievements.

Thu Dau Mot City leaders awarded certificates of merit to groups with achievements in HMTN mobilization work.

In 2024, the Red Cross movement in the city has always received the attention, leadership and direction of the City Party Committee and People's Committee; the direct and regular management efforts of the City Red Cross Association; the close coordination and enthusiastic response of agencies, departments, organizations and localities in the city.

The City Steering Committee for Blood Donation Mobilization has effectively implemented programs, movements, and events related to the blood donation movement and directed the work of blood donation mobilization to localities, departments, organizations, and armed forces to effectively carry out blood donation campaigns during the year. As a result, the city mobilized and received 4,088/3,450 blood units, reaching 118.5% of the target assigned by the Provincial Steering Committee.

Rewarding families and individuals with HMTN achievements

On this occasion, the City People's Committee awarded certificates of merit to 3 households and 160 individuals who participated in the HMTN 5 times; 6 households and 57 individuals who participated in the HMTN 10 times and many collectives with achievements in the HMTN campaign in 2024.
