Recently, iSeeCars (a US-based automotive industry data and research site) has just announced the results of its research on car brands with the longest product lifespan.
The study was conducted across the United States with data from more than 402 million vehicles. The results were ranked based on the brands most likely to have models with 250,000 miles on them.

Accordingly, Toyota is the leading car manufacturer in terms of car durability. Toyota models have a 17% chance of reaching the 400,000km ODO mark while still operating normally.
Coming in second in terms of reliability is Honda, also from Japan. Honda cars have a 13.6% chance of traveling at least 400,000km in their lifetime.

Of the five brands ranked below, four are American, including Ram (ranked 3rd - 11.5%), GMC (ranked 4th - 11.4%), Chevrolet (ranked 5th - 10.5%) and Ford (ranked 7th - 9.5%). The remaining is Lexus in 6th place (9.7%).
According to statistics from iSeeCars, cars in the US have an average of 8.6% chance of still operating normally after traveling 400,000km. Thus, it can be seen that Japanese brands such as Toyota and Honda continue to show their superiority in terms of durability and stability.
