Top 10 schools with the highest aptitude test scores in 2024

The information was released on August 22, at the conference to summarize the 2024 capacity assessment exam and deploy the 2025 plan, organized by Hanoi National University on August 22 in Hanoi.

Accordingly, the two non-specialized schools in the top 10 are both in Hai Duong province: Thanh Mien II School and Nguyen Trai High School with 130 and 204 exam results respectively; average scores are 86.3 and 86.0 respectively.

In 2024, Bac Ninh High School for the Gifted had 206 candidates taking the exam. The highest score was 122/150, the lowest was 51. The average score was 89.5.

Vinh Phuc High School for the Gifted and Hanoi National University of Education with average scores of 87.7 and 87.6 respectively.

Also in the top 10 are Le Hong Phong High School (Nam Dinh), Bac Giang High School for the Gifted, Thanh Mien II High School (Hai Duong), Nguyen Trai High School (Hai Duong), Luong Van Tuy High School for the Gifted (Ninh Binh), Hung Yen High School for the Gifted, and Thai Nguyen High School for the Gifted.

By locality, the provinces with the highest average HSA scores of students are Nam Dinh and Vinh Phuc, both at 79/150. However, the number of candidates taking the exam in Nam Dinh is nearly 6,900, 3,000 more than Vinh Phuc.

In 2024, the high school student competency assessment exam by Hanoi National University received 104,575 registrations.

The exam will take place from March 23 to June 2, 2024 in 11 provinces and cities including Hanoi, Thai Nguyen, Hung Yen, Hai Duong, Nam Dinh, Thai Binh, Ninh Binh, Hai Phong, Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, and Ha Tinh.

Among the 10 provinces and cities with the largest number of candidates registering for the exam, Hanoi always holds the number one position, followed by Nam Dinh, Thai Binh, Thanh Hoa, Hai Duong, Nghe An, Hung Yen, Hai Phong, Vinh Phuc, Bac Ninh...

Also according to the announcement of Hanoi National University, statistics by region and gender show that 59.3% of candidates are female and 40.3% of candidates are male taking the 2024 capacity assessment exam.
