The Provincial Party Secretary and the delegation attended the inauguration ceremony and handed over the housing project to 2 households, including: Mr. Hoang Van Son, Dong Dinh hamlet, La Hien commune (Vo Nhai); Mrs. Ngo Thi Hang, Van Han hamlet, Van Han commune (Dong Hy). Both families are poor households with extremely difficult circumstances. From the support of the Temporary and Dilapidated House Elimination Program, Mr. Son's family was able to build a new house with an area of nearly 100m2 , costing nearly 350 million VND; Mrs. Hang's family was able to build a new house with an area of 80m2 , costing 320 million VND.

Provincial Party Secretary Trinh Viet Hung encouraged the families to continue to strive to overcome difficulties and improve their lives. Next, the Provincial Party Secretary and the delegation inspected two houses under construction, belonging to the families of Mr. La Van Than, Dong Dinh hamlet, La Hien commune (Vo Nhai); Mrs. Tran Thi Ngung, Van Han hamlet, Van Han commune (Dong Hy). These are the last houses in the Thai Nguyen province's temporary and dilapidated house elimination program to be completed and put into use before April 30.

Through the actual inspection, the Provincial Party Secretary requested that localities continue to focus on implementing the Program; promote the role of mass organizations and armed forces in supporting working days for families, especially single-parent households and those with poor health. Regularly check and urge progress to ensure the handover and commissioning of works before April 30 throughout the province.
The Provincial Party Secretary also noted that localities need to review and classify poor and near-poor households with people of working age and in good health to organize vocational training and introduce suitable jobs, contributing to sustainable poverty reduction...
Implementing the Program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses, Thai Nguyen province has provided housing support to 1,838 families. Of which, 1,220 new houses were built; 618 houses were repaired. The total support cost was over 91.74 billion VND. As of April 15, 100% of the projects supporting the construction and repair of new houses in the province have been started. Of these, over 80% have been completed and put into use, the remaining projects are striving to be completed and put into use before April 30. |
