NDO - On the afternoon of December 2, in Hanoi, the Summary Meeting of the 4th Political Contest on Protecting the Party's Ideological Foundation in 2024 took place to evaluate the results achieved in organizing the Contest.
Comrade Nguyen Xuan Thang, Politburo member, Director of Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, Deputy Head of Central Steering Committee 35 attended and chaired the meeting.
At the meeting, the Organizing Committee assessed that the 4th Political Contest on Protecting the Party's Ideological Foundation in 2024, chaired by the Central Steering Committee 35, the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, in coordination with the Central Propaganda Department, the Central Theoretical Council, the Communist Magazine, Nhan Dan Newspaper, Vietnam Television and the Vietnam Journalists Association, was a great success.

Accordingly, the Contest has spread widely across the country and abroad. Thereby, providing high-quality works to serve the propaganda work of protecting the Party's ideological foundation, fighting against erroneous and hostile views on mass media and social networks. At the same time, contributing to consolidating and improving the quality of the core team performing the task of protecting the Party's ideological foundation.

In addition, the competition has improved the capacity of organizing activities to protect the Party's ideological foundation in agencies and units from the central to local levels. The award ceremony of the competition took place solemnly, creating a widespread influence in the political system and the whole society.
The results achieved come from the timely and effective direction of the Central Steering Committee 35 and the Competition Steering Committee, and the urgent participation of Party committees and leaders of agencies, units and localities; communication work about the competition was carried out early, regularly, continuously and proactively, creating a wide spread in society; the organization was methodical, with smooth and effective coordination of participating agencies and units.
The support of agencies and businesses for the common political mission also contributed significantly to the success of this year's contest.
The Organizing Committee also seriously clarified some limitations in the organization of the contest in some localities. Some works submitted to the Central level contest were of low quality, not meeting the criteria of a political work.

Therefore, the delegates attending the meeting focused on discussing and giving many suggestions so that the contest can continue to spread its values, affirming its role, meaning and importance in Party building and protecting the Party's ideological foundation.
In his concluding remarks, comrade Nguyen Xuan Thang agreed with the contents of the Summary Report of the fourth political contest on protecting the Party's ideological foundation in 2024.

Comrade Nguyen Xuan Thang commented that this year's competition is a highlight in the implementation of Resolution No. 35-NQ/TW. One of the successes of this year's competition is the scale and influence of the Award Ceremony, with the participation of more than 700 delegates, including many leaders of the Party, State, ministries, and local branches. In particular, this year's Award Ceremony was honored to welcome General Secretary To Lam to attend, present the award, and deliver an important speech, with many strategic directions for the work of protecting the Party's ideological foundation.

Newspaper category: 40 prizes (3 A prizes, 6 B prizes, 11 C prizes, 20 Encouragement prizes).
Television category: 20 awards (2 A prizes, 4 B prizes, 5 C prizes and 9 Encouragement prizes).
Video clip category: 12 prizes (1 A prize, 2 B prizes, 3 C prizes and 6 Encouragement prizes).
