General rehearsal of the Cherry Blossom Festival art program

An opening performance was performed with two Vietnamese and Japanese uniforms, demonstrating the friendship and cooperation between the two countries.

With the theme “Experience Pa Khoang - Cherry Blossom Viewing”, the opening art program of the festival is divided into three chapters: “Dien Bien Impressions”, “Endless Beauty”, “Vietnam - Japan Friendship”. The songs performed feature the cultural characteristics of the ethnic groups in Dien Bien province, along with the cultural exchange between Vietnam and Japan in songs, costumes, and images imbued with Japanese culture.

Chapter II "Endless Beauty" opens with the song Gentle Pa Khoang.

After the rehearsal, the Festival Organizing Committee, crews, and event organizers discussed, contributed, and received professional opinions as well as had backup plans, completed the script, edited sound, lighting, choreography, etc.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vu A Bang suggested that the lighting needs to be adjusted to match the performing costumes of the ethnic communities in Dien Bien province. In addition, it is necessary to supplement, combine, and integrate images that are typical of the land and people of Dien Bien as well as activities that demonstrate the friendship and cooperation between Vietnam and Japan. At the same time, include artistic performances imbued with Japanese culture to create harmony and hospitality for the festival. The implementing units and teams need to further strengthen the connection between the content sections; complete the program script layout; focus on more diverse and rich documentary images and illustrations of the province's relics...

Cultural exchange between Vietnam and Japan through the song Hana Wa Saku (And the flowers will bloom) with cherry blossoms and traditional kimono of the land of the rising sun.

The opening ceremony of the Cherry Blossom Festival - Dien Bien Phu 2024 will take place at 8:00 p.m. on January 12 at 7/5 Square, Dien Bien Phu City. The program will be broadcast live on the provincial Radio and Television Station and livestreamed directly on the fanpage and youtube channel of Dien Bien Radio and Television Station.
