Speaking at the meeting, the General Secretary expressed his impression of the museum space and the rich artifacts that vividly demonstrated the maturity of the heroic Vietnam People's Army, as evidenced by the large number of people from all walks of life visiting the museum this afternoon.

Emphasizing, this is the red address for studying and researching associated with the extremely heroic process of defending the country of our ancestors, especially the wise and talented directions of our Party in each stage of the country's development.

" We must further emphasize the role of the people in our policies because our army is a people's army, a people's war, a battle of the people's hearts, from the past until now all the victories of our ancestors are thanks to the strength of the people. Another issue is to further emphasize the international responsibility of our army.

We have just talked about international cooperation issues and the military's foreign affairs. Our strategy is to protect the Fatherland early and from afar, to resolve all potential dangers and consequences in advance with intelligence and creativity, and not to be caught off guard," General Secretary To Lam suggested.

In the coming time, to complete the museum in accordance with the investment policy, political outline, approved design tasks and investment targets determined by the Central Military Commission Standing Committee and the leaders of the Ministry of National Defense, the General Secretary also requested local ministries and Hanoi City to continue to create conditions for the Ministry of National Defense to soon complete the investment items of phase 2, effectively promote the value of historical and cultural works, which are red addresses in research, study, preservation and promotion of the heroic traditions of the Vietnamese people through thousands of years of building and defending the country.

Previously, in the Golden Book of Remembrance here, the General Secretary wrote: " The Vietnam Military History Museum is a chronicle of events through documents, images, and artifacts throughout the history of the birth, fighting, victory, and growth of the heroic Vietnam People's Army.

It was so touching, an honor, and a pride to relive the scene of Tran Hung Dao forest in the past; to see again the groups of porters carrying rice all over the Northwest roads, the garrison uniforms of the Dien Bien soldiers, the Muong Thanh, Hong Cum, Him Lam; the cannons clinging to the mountainside to join the whole people and army in pouring bullets into the enemy's heads, creating a victory that 'resounded throughout the five continents and shook the earth'; to see again the army troops 'cutting through Truong Son to save the country' to liberate the South, unify the country, see the mountains and rivers of Vietnam as one strip, see the high sky, the vast sea; see the maturity, growth, and modernity of the Vietnam People's Army; see the trust and pride of the Party, the Government, and the People in Uncle Ho's soldiers and see 'Uncle Ho still marching with us' on every road of the country.

I believe that the Vietnam Military History Museum is a red address, a special cultural space for people across the country, our compatriots abroad and friends from all over the world to visit, learn and study about the tradition of the invincible army of the heroic Vietnamese people .
