Speaking at the opening ceremony, Dr. Le Ngoc Dung, Member of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Chairman of VATA, Chairman of VGJA, Director of the Institute for Research and Development of Vietnamese Mother Goddesses, affirmed that April 20, 2008 was officially chosen by the Government as Vietnam Brand Day. After more than a decade of selecting and honoring “Made in Vietnam” products, many brands of goods and services meeting high quality standards have been formed and developed, creating trust for consumers.

Along with the products, goods and services of corporations and enterprises, “Vietnamese Brands” is also a gathering place for typical products of each region across the country. Vietnam Brand Day not only honors “Vietnamese Brands” and “Vietnamese Values”, but also reminds each large and small enterprise and consumer to build and protect their brands, actively contributing to promoting the image of each locality.

According to Dr. Le Ngoc Dung - The program to celebrate Vietnam Brand Day 2024 is an opportunity to encourage and promote patriotism, self-reliance, self-reliance, preserve and develop traditional industries left by our ancestors and build a consumer culture of Vietnamese people imbued with national pride and carry out the campaign "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods" launched by the Politburo. At the same time, it is also an opportunity to encourage and motivate artisans, businessmen, and enterprises nationwide with outstanding achievements in the production and business of handicrafts, jewelry, and precious stones as well as many other industries such as small-scale industry, services, trade, etc.

Over the years, individual artisans, businessmen, enterprises in the handicraft, jewelry, gemstone, industry, small-scale industry, trade, and services sectors have made great contributions to the development of the industry in general and of VATA and VGJA in particular. To express gratitude for these great contributions, the Organizing Committee has honored enterprises, businessmen, and artisans with outstanding achievements with the titles of "National Artisan", "Golden Hand Artisan", Cao Dinh Do Award, etc. Among them, Stone Sculptor Cao Van Chien is one of the artisans receiving the title of National Artisan this time.

The program "Glory of Golden Hands Intelligence - Pride of Vietnamese Brands" aims to continue the mission of accompanying Vietnamese brands and businesses nationwide. This is an annual program, contributing to the general emulation movement of the whole country, honoring typical artisans, "Golden Hands" and individuals and groups that have actively and effectively contributed to the journey of affirming Vietnamese brands.
