The Ministry of Information and Communications publishes data on Internet access service speeds to enhance publicity, transparency and public interest in service provision.

The results also create conditions for people, organizations and businesses to choose services and network operators according to their needs and actual conditions. This activity also improves management efficiency based on actual data, contributing to promoting the development and improving the quality of Internet access services in Vietnam.

In fact, since the Ministry of Information and Communications publicly announced the service quality of Internet service providers in Vietnam in April 2024. Mobile Internet speed in Vietnam has increased significantly (1.4 times in the downlink, 1.2 times in the uplink). The i-Speed application adds a feature to support users in measuring Internet speed automatically . Along with upgrading the system of statistics, sharing, and providing data to evaluate Vietnam's Internet access speed, the Vietnam Internet Center - VNNIC has just updated a new version of the i-Speed application, allowing users to measure automatically.
