TPO - After about 6 months of construction, the project to renovate and beautify the space and landscape around Thien Quang Lake and its vicinity has completed phase 1. Creating a connection with the adjacent Thong Nhat Park, establishing a valuable ecological - cultural complex for the city.

A representative of the People's Committee of Hai Ba Trung District said that the project to renovate and embellish the space and landscape around Thien Quang Lake and its vicinity has been researched by Hai Ba Trung District since 2023, with the aim of upgrading, renovating and promoting the values ​​of the landscape relics of this area and building activities to bring the values ​​of the area to serve the people of the Capital.

In addition to retaining all existing trees, perennials, and tall trees, some layers of low-level trees, border grasses, and mid-level trees... are added to expand and reorganize the green space system here.

The project to renovate and beautify the space around Thien Quang Lake and its vicinity has been basically completed. The grass banks around the lake have been renovated to increase interaction with the water surface according to the principle of creating a landscape, without hard edges or concrete, "softening" the lake edges, grass edges, and flower edges to create natural softness, highlighting the existing values ​​of nature.

At the four corners of Thien Quang Lake, four open spaces named Spring - Summer - Autumn - Winter are set up with themes symbolizing the four seasons of Hanoi, serving community activities as well as evoking the seasonal beauty of the city to visitors.

The path around the lake is paved with soft stone.

One of the four open points is arranged around the lake. This is also a place where large-scale, crowded activities can be organized with many functions such as organizing art performances and festivals, a center for trading and exchanging goods, and a resting place for tourists.

Previously, on October 8, the project "Renovation and embellishment of space and landscape around Thien Quang Lake and vicinity" won the "Idea - For the love of Hanoi" category at the "Bui Xuan Phai - For the love of Hanoi" 2024 award ceremony.

Regarding progress, the project is divided into 2 phases, of which phase 1 (organizing landscape renovation around Thien Quang lake) has been deployed since March 2024 and has been basically completed.

Phase 2 (creating the central space and completing the remaining contents) is expected to be prepared for investment in 2025 and completed in 2026.
