The National Hangeul Museum, the Korean Cultural Center in Vietnam and the National Library of Vietnam successfully organized the Hangeul cultural event - the Korean writing system.

Korean Writing Design Exhibition - Hangeul Experimental Project The National Hangeul Museum of Korea (hereinafter referred to as the Museum) opened at the National Library of Vietnam (hereinafter referred to as the Library) on the morning of July 15, an exhibition themed on Hangeul - the first Korean script in Vietnam.

A total of 11 works, including videos, fashion products, handicrafts, household goods, and graphics, were produced with the theme of the change of the Korean language in modern times, such as the work (Lee Hwa Young) symbolically represents Hangeul as a window to the new world in modern times and (Lyu Namgwon) captures the characteristics of modern Korean fonts published on lacquerware...

This exhibition will take place at the National Library of Vietnam until August 9. The opening ceremony was successfully held with the participation of Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Vietnam Trinh Thi Thuy, Korean Ambassador to Vietnam Choi Young Sam and leaders of departments, agencies and organizations.

During the exhibition, a total of 8 educational programs to experience Korean culture with the theme organized for Vietnamese people who want to experience Korean writing.

The program was organized by the Education Group of the National Hangeul Museum before the Exhibition began and received enthusiastic response from Vietnamese students.

Participants will experience the beauty of Hangeul - Korean writing through modern Korean calligraphy techniques - by creating their own works.

In addition, taking this opportunity, the National Hangeul Museum of Korea and the National Library of Vietnam signed a memorandum of understanding on cooperation. Based on this memorandum of understanding, the two sides plan to cooperate in promoting the different cultures of both countries in terms of written culture and material heritage.
