Discover and experience Korean culture during Dalat Flower Festival

On December 12, Mr. Tran Thanh Hoai, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Lam Dong, said that accompanying the 2024 Da Lat Flower Festival, the Korean Embassy in Vietnam coordinated with the People's Committee of Lam Dong province to organize the Korean Cultural Festival in Da Lat, taking place from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. on December 13, at Lam Vien Square, Da Lat City. The program is jointly organized by the Korean Cultural Center and the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Lam Dong province.

Accordingly, on the morning of December 13, tourists and residents of Da Lat will experience kimjang - a collective Korean kimchi-making culture using Da Lat vegetables. It is expected that about 200 people will join together to make kimchi with the guidance of a culinary instructor from Korea.

Next, at the exhibition booth area, many activities took place for people and tourists to experience such as: wearing hanbok; chasing pictures to guess Korean culture; making Korean handmade kites; flying kites using virtual reality technology.

In the afternoon of the same day, from 4 pm, there will be activities to experience K-pop Random Dance and Korean creative content; learn about Korean tourism and copyright in Korea. At the same time, there will be activities to learn about and experience the culture, tourism, and products of Da Lat, Lam Dong.

This performance is being awaited by the audience on the night of December 13.

In particular, the Vietnam - Korea cultural and artistic exchange music night is being awaited by many people, promising to be a meaningful and emotional experience with performances by the B-boy group SDG Crew, the Korean girl group Queen, singer Trung Quan Idol, the K-pop dance group Cover Dance Lucifer & Bestever and artists from the Da Lat City Cultural Center.

The Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Lam Dong province added that the Korean Cultural Festival in Da Lat is an open cultural diplomacy activity, creating more understanding and exchanging the unique values ​​of Korea and Da Lat, Lam Dong. This is also an activity that contributes to further strengthening cultural exchanges between Korea and Vietnam in the city of thousands of flowers.

On the same evening, at Hoa Binh area, Da Lat city, a Da Lat - Chuncheon (Korea) cultural and artistic exchange program took place, attracting thousands of people and tourists to attend. This is one of the 10 official programs of the 2024 Da Lat Flower Festival.
