Ranked second is BIDV with total deposits reaching 1.81 million billion VND, an increase of more than 102,200 billion VND compared to the beginning of the year, equivalent to an increase of 6% - the highest increase in the Big 4 group. Following is Sacombank with VND549,184 billion, up 7.5% compared to the beginning of the year, equivalent to an increase of about VND38,440 billion.
Also growing at around 6% are 3 banks including ACB, Techcombank and VPBank. Of which, ACB and Techcombank respectively reached VND 515,696 billion and VND 481,806 billion in deposits, up 6% compared to the balance at the end of 2023.
Meanwhile, VPBank recorded a deposit growth of 6.6%, reaching VND471,349 billion. Thereby, creating a gap of more than VND12,000 billion compared to the top 10 position, SHB bank, reaching VND459,296 billion.
