Phu Quoc Sea King Palace is a giant turtle-shaped artificial aquarium located on the beach of Ganh Dau commune. This project has a total area of ​​15,000m2, including 3 floors.
In which, the 200m2 transparent Acrylic glass tank simulates the ocean scene with many species of marine life living there.
The world of fish is diverse in species inside the aquarium. This is also the home to 255,000 creatures of saltwater and freshwater, creating a magnificent scene under the sea (simulated).
Many rare fish species in the Red Book such as Amazon river elephant fish, giant catfish, Mekong river swordfish... also appear here.
This artificial aquarium currently has more than 200 penguins, with many species such as: King, Rock Hooper, Adelie, Gentoo, Humboldt... brought from the Arctic region. The glass tank area where the penguins live is maintained at a temperature below 0 degrees Celsius.
This aquarium is also home to more than 1,000 colorful jellyfish, moving flexibly in the still water.
Many statues and miniatures associated with legends about sea gods are created inside.
A restaurant was built in the palace, serving the needs of tourists to stop and enjoy the cuisine.
Many tourists said they felt like they were admiring the real ocean world, not just an artificial construction, because of its vividness and impression.
