In 2024, the Provincial People's Council has closely followed the leadership of the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Council Party Delegation to properly perform its functions and tasks according to legal regulations, programs and plans to ensure quality and efficiency, contributing to socio-economic development and ensuring national defense and security in the province. The Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council has paid attention to improving and innovating, focusing on directing the serious implementation of the resolution of the National Assembly Standing Committee guiding supervision activities; promptly and qualitatively organizing People's Council meetings to resolve arising and unexpected work, creating a complete legal basis for authorities at all levels to manage socio-economic development tasks; organizing thematic supervision according to the set plan; maintaining and effectively organizing regular meetings. Paying attention to solutions to improve the quality of activities of People's Councils at district and commune levels. Activities of meeting voters, receiving citizens, handling and urging the resolution of citizens' complaints and denunciations have been directed to improve and effectively implemented. The verification work has been ensured to be strict and timely, contributing to improving the building and promulgation of resolutions of the Provincial People's Council. Coordination with the Provincial People's Committee, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, and relevant departments and branches has been strengthened to help promptly resolve arising tasks in the local socio-economic field.

In 2025, the Provincial People's Council will continue to improve the quality of its activities, especially the People's Council sessions; develop and issue resolutions of the People's Council to ensure that they meet the requirements of socio-economic development, national defense and security. Strengthen supervision and survey activities between two People's Council sessions. Organize meetings of the Provincial People's Council Standing Committee according to regulations. Improve the quality of work of People's Council delegates. Focus on innovation, improving the quality and effectiveness of citizen reception and voter contact. Strengthen the organization of thematic voter contacts to promptly resolve voters' outstanding and urgent petitions. Prepare to summarize the People's Council term 2021-2026; coordinate to prepare personnel for the People's Council term 2026-2031...

Next, the meeting approved the Plan for organizing the 2025 sessions of the 11th Provincial People's Council, term 2021-2026; Proposal to issue a Resolution to establish a specialized supervision delegation of the Provincial People's Council in 2025; preparations for organizing the 22nd session of the 11th Provincial People's Council (regular session at the end of 2024) scheduled to take place on December 5 and 6. The Provincial People's Committee and the Provincial People's Council Committees reported on the preparation of content and results of the examination of draft resolutions submitted to the 22nd session of the Provincial People's Council. The Economic - Budget Committee of the Provincial People's Council reported on the results of the supervision of the Provincial People's Council Committees on the results of implementing the socio-economic development tasks in 2024.

In particular, focusing on improving the quality of drafting and promulgating resolutions of the Provincial People's Council, supervision and survey activities between two sessions of the Provincial People's Council. Regarding the establishment of a thematic supervision team in 2025, it was agreed to establish a thematic supervision team on legal policies on social housing in the province for the period 2021 - 2024; in addition, depending on the actual situation, the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council will direct the addition of other necessary supervision topics to meet practical requirements. He requested the Provincial People's Committee, departments, branches, and Provincial People's Council Committees to continue to coordinate in reviewing and perfecting the contents of the draft resolutions submitted to the 22nd Session of the 11th Provincial People's Council to ensure quality and rigor...
