The Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council held the 35th Session

On January 10, the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council, term XI, 2021-2026, held the 35th session. Comrades: Pham Van Hau, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Tran Minh Luc, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council chaired the session. Attending the session were comrade Phan Tan Canh, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; comrades members of the Provincial Party Committee.

At the meeting, representatives of the Office of the National Assembly Delegation and the Provincial People's Council approved the Program of the conference to review the activities of the Provincial People's Council in the mid-term 2021-2026; Plan to overcome and correct shortcomings and limitations after self-criticism and criticism of the Provincial People's Council Party Delegation in 2024. The Provincial People's Committee proposed to organize the 16th session of the Provincial People's Council - a thematic session. Accordingly, the conference to review the activities of the Provincial People's Council in the mid-term 2021-2026 is expected to be held on January 30 and the 16th session of the Provincial People's Council will be held in January 2024.

The Economic - Budget Committee of the Provincial People's Council reports the results of consulting opinions on: Submission No. 221/TTr-UBND dated December 29, 2023 of the Provincial People's Committee on the proposal to unify the allocation of additional state budget expenditure estimates for 2023 to the People's Committees of districts to support housing for poor and near-poor households in 2023; Official Dispatch No. 1211-CV/BCS dated December 22, 2023 of the Party Committee of the Provincial People's Committee on the report asking for opinions on support for land allocation with land use fees for 12 cases at the Phu Ha New Urban Area project and 28 households at the My Phuoc Urban Area project, My Binh ward (Phan Rang Thap Cham city); Report No. 244-BC/BCSĐ dated December 21, 2023 of the Party Committee of the Provincial People's Committee on the compensation and support plan for 3 households whose land was recovered in the project to build the complex of the Provincial Museum, Monument and Square of April 16; Official Dispatch No. 1270-CV/BCSĐ dated December 29, 2023 of the Party Committee of the Provincial People's Committee on the use of the provincial budget reserve to carry out the task of practicing the provincial defense area in 2023; Implementation status of the Ca Na LNG Project. The Provincial People's Council's Committee for Culture and Society reported the results of the examination and gave advice on Official Dispatch No. 1226-CV/BCSĐ dated December 26, 2023 of the Party Committee of the Provincial People's Committee on supporting health insurance payments for ethnic minorities. The Legal Committee of the Provincial People's Council reported the results of the examination of the draft resolution according to Submission No. 217/TTr-UBND dated December 17, 2023 of the Provincial People's Committee on the assignment of provincial and district-level civil servant payrolls; assignment of the number of cadres, civil servants, and non-professional workers at the commune level; the number of people working on state budget salaries in public service units of Ninh Thuan province in 2024. Delegates discussed and commented on the above contents and reports.

At the meeting, the Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council presented the Decision on assigning personnel in charge of operating the Office of the National Assembly Delegation and the Provincial People's Council of Ninh Thuan from January 1, 2024 until the completion of the position of Chief of Office of the National Assembly Delegation and the Provincial People's Council for Mr. Dang Ngoc Minh Quang.

Concluding the meeting, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council requested the Standing Committee, the Provincial People's Council Committees and the Provincial People's Committee to do a good job of preparing for the mid-term review conference of the Provincial People's Council's activities for the 2021-2026 term and the 16th session of the Provincial People's Council; pay attention to completing reports, submissions, and draft resolutions to serve the meeting. Regarding the recommendations on support policies for land allocation with land use fees for 12 cases in the Phu Ha New Urban Area project and 28 households in the My Phuoc Urban Area project; compensation and support plans for 3 households whose land was recovered in the project to build the complex of the Provincial Museum, Monument and Square on April 16; Regarding the implementation of the LNG Ca Na Project, the Provincial People's Council Committees, the Provincial Party Committee, and the Provincial People's Committee are requested to continue to study and review relevant legal documents and regulations, supplement and perfect policies and implement the project to ensure compliance with legal regulations and in accordance with the actual situation.
