Mr. Vu Quoc Tri, General Secretary of Vietnam Tourism Association, said that MICE EXPO 2024 is an opportunity for tourism businesses, service providers, and stakeholders to meet, exchange information, learn about market trends, products, expand joint ventures, partnerships, and sign cooperation contracts in the field of MICE tourism, thereby promoting the development of MICE tourism commensurate with the potential and strengths of Vietnam tourism, contributing to the rapid and sustainable development of Vietnam tourism.
In addition, MICE EXPO 2024 also creates a forum for discussion on visions, opportunities, and challenges to develop MICE tourism in Vietnam in a professional, effective, and sustainable direction, associated with the green transformation and digital transformation orientation of Vietnam tourism.
According to the General Secretary of the Vietnam Tourism Association, following the success of MICE EXPO 2023, MICE EXPO 2024 is even more meaningful when it takes place on September 27 - World Tourism Day with the message sent by the United Nations Tourism Organization (UNT) to member countries is "Tourism and Peace".

Speaking at the event, Chairman of the Vietnam MICE Tourism Club Nguyen Duc Anh said that the specific goal of MICE EXPO 2024 is to promote cooperation between sellers and buyers, sharing knowledge and experience in the MICE tourism business.
According to the Chairman of the Vietnam MICE Club, MICE tourism is bringing great development potential to Vietnam tourism, but currently, many businesses are just starting to do MICE tourism. How to exploit this market, how to increase connectivity between service providers to serve large-scale groups of guests, and develop Vietnam MICE tourism in a professional direction... still need to continue to find solutions. Therefore, at MICE EXPO 2024, the Organizing Committee will invite a number of foreign partners such as: Korea, Thailand... to share their experiences in doing business in this type of tourism.
Mr. Duc Anh commented that with the scale of 500 businesses and 800 delegates attending, MICE EXPO 2024 will certainly create a good opportunity for businesses to introduce and promote products, jointly identify trends, and build action plans to develop MICE tourism.

Accordingly, MICE EXPO 2024 will take place with trade promotion activities - Business Matching B2B (8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.), between 150 sellers representing hotels, yachts, destinations, event venues, golf courses, event equipment suppliers, gifts, land tour companies and 500 buyers representing travel companies, event companies, media companies and other organizations. Through meetings and exchanges about products, large buying groups will be formed and cooperation contracts will be signed...
In addition, the Vietnam MICE Tourism Development Forum is organized by the Vietnam Tourism Association in collaboration with the Institute for Tourism Development Research (2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.). The forum is expected to attract 200-300 delegates, including representatives of state management agencies, MICE tourism experts, tourism business leaders, destination management agencies, media agencies, etc.; to exchange and discuss solutions to promote the development of MICE tourism in Vietnam, through 3 main topic groups, including: Assessing the role of MICE tourism; Developing MICE tourism destinations; and Developing MICE tourism services.
Within the framework of MICE EXPO 2024, there will also be product survey and development activities, combined with the VMC Golf Cup 2024, surveying locations in Hanoi and its vicinity, building unique, high-end products to create trends in the coming time. In particular, the 2nd VMC Golf Cup will be organized in conjunction with the Fam group to create sports tourism products combined with competitions. This is also a product that is creating trends in the market. The event will take place on September 28-29, 2024 in Ha Long.
