More than 400 actors and athletes contributed their talents and efforts to make the competition a successful and interesting one. At the competition, traditional sports such as football, volleyball, tug of war, and stick pushing took place as excitingly and fiercely as any other competition.
At the art competition, because it was the time to prepare for mid-term and final exams, the ching performance was absent from all the young gong teams, only the middle-aged and elderly gong teams participated. Most of the gong teams had xoang dances accompanying them. Unfortunately, due to some misunderstanding, the basic movement of the flying bird dance was all omitted by the children, and their feet were lifted off the ground, which is not in accordance with the traditional dance of both the Ede people and other ethnic groups in the Central Highlands.
A folk song performance at the contest. |
The folk song and folk music competition was probably the most successful of this year's art competition, when the Dinh Tut group of 6 women from Dray Bhang commune confidently whispered their thoughts on stage. Or the performance of the Ede folk song "Nho Nguon" with a very warm voice by the Ea Ktur commune team; the solo performance of the five-tone arei melody that gently reminded of one's roots; the singing of the Ede folk song "Sang Trong Buon" by the children's singing group of Ea Tieu commune with clear voices, very standard harmony, a bustling ethnic orchestra and extremely lively accompanying singing and dancing.
Notable were two performances by the Cu Ewi Commune Club. Then singing - Tinh lute with beautiful lyrics by the late poet Nong Viet Toai, unfortunately, perhaps due to lack of practice time, the singing and playing were somewhat out of sync. In particular, the women of Cu Ewi Commune brought to the competition a cup dance, one of the Tay ethnic folk dances, which is currently very popular in the northern mountainous region. Graceful and flexible in their traditional Ao Dai, the women were confident with the bustling sound of chopsticks and bowls, which are just a very familiar item in every family.
One interesting thing is that in the troupes, there are mother-daughter pairs, brothers and sisters who participate in the same performance. And they all contribute to increasing the artistic quality of their performance, their team's performance in terms of harmony, staging or confidence in performing.
In the performance competition, the first prize went to Ea Tieu commune team; the second prize went to Cu Ewi commune team; the third prize went to Ea Ktur commune team; the encouragement prizes went to Hoa Hiep, Dray Bhang and Ea Bhok communes. |
