On April 18, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Hai Duong organized a training course to improve skills and expertise for human resources serving tourism in the province in 2025.

More than 100 staff, room and desk workers from accommodation establishments, restaurants, cafes, tourist areas and attractions in the province attended.

At the training session, lecturers from Sao Do University emphasized that in the digital age, human resources serving tourism in Hai Duong province need to apply social networks such as Facebook, TikTok, Instagram... to carry out promotional work.

Establishments and units need to create their own official accounts on social networking platforms; create impressive content, beautiful images and short, high-quality videos; update content and images regularly; connect with young customers, enhance the ability to spread...

Trainees are also taught knowledge and practice communication skills, serving tourists; handling difficult situations and customer complaints; welcoming and serving guests at restaurants, cafes, hotels, motels, etc.

Hai Duong currently has 19 tourist areas and spots, 11 ranked hotels (1 4-star hotel, 4 3-star hotels, 4 2-star hotels, 2 1-star hotels), 6 homestays, 35 travel service businesses, 168 licensed tour guides...
