The Rach Dia Bridge construction investment project has a total investment of 512 billion VND. Of which, the construction cost is 146 billion VND; compensation, support and resettlement is 290 billion VND.

The project aims to replace the old Rach Dia iron bridge which is over 50 years old, degraded and cannot meet the operating load.

The new bridge construction project is 318m long, 9-10.5m wide, with a total approach road of 285m and a drainage, lighting, and tree system...

Mr. Luong Minh Phuc - Director of the Management Board of Investment and Construction of Traffic Works in Ho Chi Minh City - said that the project started in July 2023 and has now been completed, after 17 months of concentrated construction.

Rach Dia Bridge helps traffic connect District 7 with Nha Be district smoothly, contributing to urban beautification and promoting socio-economic development of the area.

60-day peak to complete a series of traffic projects

According to Mr. Luong Minh Phuc, the opening of the Rach Dia bridge construction project will mark the beginning of a 60-day peak period to complete and put into service a series of projects for the city's residents before the 2025 Lunar New Year.
