According to the 2023 university and college preschool enrollment plan, the Ministry of Education and Training (MOET) will maintain university enrollment as in the previous year and will not issue new enrollment regulations.
The Ministry of Education and Training continues to implement online enrollment on the common system. The new point of university enrollment this year is that the enrollment schedule is earlier than last year.
Accordingly, candidates for direct admission and priority admission must submit their applications before June 30, receive results before July 5 and confirm their admission on the Ministry of Education and Training's admission system before 5:00 p.m. on August 15. With early admission methods, schools will complete and notify candidates of the results so they can register for admission on the system from July 8.
Time to receive university benchmark scores in 2023
From July 10 to July 30, all candidates can register and adjust their admission wishes without limit on the Ministry of Education and Training system. After that, candidates have 7 days to pay the admission fee, from July 31 to August 6.
Candidates will receive results (standard scores) on August 22 and confirm admission for the first round before 5:00 p.m. on September 6, 2023 (7 days later than expected).
For the health and teacher training sector, the Ministry of Education and Training will announce the threshold for ensuring input quality on July 25, 2023. From there, schools training in this sector will set the score for receiving application documents for admission (floor score).
Thus, the time to register for admission this year is only 20 days, while in 2022 it is one month. The time for candidates to know the benchmark score and enroll is also 3 weeks earlier than the September 17 and September 30 deadlines of last year.
In addition, in 2023, regional priority points will be reduced when candidates score 22.5 points/combination or more. In addition, priority points are only valid for 2 years, the year the candidate takes the high school graduation exam and one year after that.
