At the ceremony, Deputy Chairman of the Central Committee for National Defense and Security Nguyen Hai Hung announced Resolution No. 959/NQ-UBTVQH15 of the National Assembly Standing Committee on approving Major General Nguyen Quoc Hung, a delegate of the 15th National Assembly, to hold the position of Standing Member of the National Defense and Security Committee of the 15th National Assembly. The Resolution takes effect from January 10, 2024.

On behalf of the National Assembly Standing Committee, Chairman of the National Defense and Security Committee, Lieutenant General Le Tan Toi presented the Resolution and congratulated Standing Member of the National Defense and Security Committee Nguyen Quoc Hung. Lieutenant General Le Tan Toi emphasized that this is both an honor and a great responsibility. The Chairman of the National Defense and Security Committee requested that Standing Member of the National Defense and Security Committee Nguyen Quoc Hung continue to promote the results achieved in the recent past, uphold the sense of responsibility, regularly study and practice to improve knowledge, professional expertise, and contribute more to the activities of the National Defense and Security Committee.
