Another hospital in Dong Nai deploys smart medical kiosk system

Doctor Phung Van Thanh, Director of the Provincial Traditional Medicine Hospital, said that the smart medical kiosk system was implemented by the hospital in collaboration with the Ho Chi Minh City Development Joint Stock Commercial Bank (HDBank) and the Department of Administrative Police for Social Order. The kiosk is located on the ground floor of the hospital. Patients coming to the hospital can use their citizen identification cards to register for examination quickly and conveniently.

The deployment of the Smart Medical Kiosk system marks a step forward in the digital transformation of healthcare at the Provincial Hospital of Traditional Medicine. Thereby, it helps reduce administrative work for medical staff; facilitates management and better serves the people. The hospital is also making efforts to soon deploy electronic medical records according to the direction of the Prime Minister for all medical facilities nationwide.

Mr. Nguyen Tuan Anh, Director of HD Bank Dong Nai branch, said that the Provincial Traditional Medicine Hospital is the 4th unit in the province to deploy the Smart Medical Kiosk system. This system integrates 3 outstanding features. These are supporting quick medical examination registration, shortening administrative procedures, and optimizing hospital operations.

In addition, it helps standardize patient data by connecting directly to the Ministry of Public Security's electronic identification system via a chip-embedded citizen identification card, ensuring accurate and consistent information. This kiosk also allows patients to conveniently pay hospital fees without cash through a direct link to their bank account, enhancing transparency and information security.
