On December 26, the People's Committee of Quang Ngai province held a meeting to consider the proposal of the People's Committee of Quang Ngai city on handling difficulties in a number of key projects and residential projects in the city.
Chairman of Quang Ngai City People's Committee Tra Thanh Danh reported on problems related to the Chu Van An Primary and Secondary School project and 7 residential and resettlement projects that have not yet been granted authority to change the purpose and allocate land.
Specifically, the Residential Area Project West of Quang Ngai Provincial General Hospital; Truong Quang Can Street Project (from Le Dai Hanh Street to Luong The Vinh Street); Nghia Dung Residential Area Project (east of Provincial Road 623C); Residential Area Project along Le Thanh Ton Street; Service and Residential Area Project North of Go Da Ward, Le Hong Phong Ward; Residential Area Project on Tran Khanh Du Street, serving the resettlement of the Tra Khuc River South Bank Road Project, Quang Ngai City; New Urban Area Project serving the resettlement of Area II of the Dike.
The total number of land plots according to the approved planning of the 7 residential and resettlement areas above is 861 plots. Of these, 538 plots have been allocated land and issued land use right certificates to people, while 323 plots have not been allocated land.
Quang Ngai City People's Committee proposed to change the land use purpose and assign land to the Quang Ngai City Land Fund Development and Investment Project Management Board to implement projects, including: Residential area project west of Quang Ngai Provincial General Hospital and Truong Quang Can Street project (section from Le Dai Hanh Street to Luong The Vinh Street) without having to go through procedures to confirm environmental protection commitment.
Consider allowing the submission of procedures to request the change of land use purpose and hand over land to the Project Management Board for Investment, Construction and Land Fund Development of Quang Ngai City to implement the Nghia Dung Residential Area project (east of Provincial Road 623C) without having to carry out procedures for the protection plan, use the topsoil of land specialized in growing wet rice to convert to non-agricultural purposes and pay rice land fees according to regulations,...
Speaking at the meeting, Vice Chairman of Quang Ngai Provincial People's Committee Tran Phuoc Hien emphasized that these projects are of great significance to the socio-economic development of Quang Ngai City as well as the province. The Provincial People's Committee agreed with the recommendations and proposals to handle the difficulties of Quang Ngai City People's Committee.
At the same time, request relevant departments, branches and sectors to actively support the People's Committee of Quang Ngai City to promptly resolve difficulties and obstacles, speed up project implementation progress, effectively use land funds, etc.
