Minh Duc Pagoda belongs to the Thien Ma Spiritual Cultural Area project, which is about 90 hectares wide, located in Tinh Long and Tinh Khe communes, Quang Ngai city, Quang Ngai province. This is one of the three famous "Tam Thien" mountains of Quang Ngai, including: Thien An, Thien But, Thien Ma.
The project was approved by the People's Committee of Quang Ngai province at the end of 2017 with a budget of over 1,000 billion VND, with Venerable Thich Tam Vi (from Quang Ngai, currently the abbot of Linh Phuoc and Linh An pagodas in Lam Dong province) as the investor.
