On March 28, the Department of Home Affairs, the Office of the Provincial People's Committee, and the An Giang Provincial Youth Union jointly organized a dialogue program between the leaders of the Provincial People's Committee and young people in 2024. The program was connected online with 11 connecting points, with 100 delegates representing nearly 200,000 young people in the province.
Mr. Le Van Phuoc - Vice Chairman of An Giang Provincial People's Committee - chaired the program and listened to the opinions and aspirations of young people.
Young officials, civil servants and youth union members raised many questions about vocational training, temporary work abroad, start-up and career policies. Innovation, start-up in the digital environment, policies to attract and retain quality labor to work in the province...
Mr. Le Van Phuoc said that this meeting is very meaningful. This is an opportunity for young people to share their thoughts and concerns. At the same time, he also emphasized that the Party Committee and the government of An Giang always attach great importance to and highly appreciate the role, position and importance of young people in the cause of building and defending the Fatherland.
The province has issued many policies to maximize the role of youth, creating favorable conditions for youth to contribute to the cause of building and developing the homeland. Generations of youth have also contributed together with the entire Party, the entire army, and the entire people to socio-economic development.
In order for youth work to be effective and close to the reality and needs of young people, Mr. Phuoc suggested that Party committees and local authorities continue to pay attention, create favorable conditions and mechanisms for the Youth Union and young workers to train, build and consolidate the Youth Union, build a team of enthusiastic, brave, exemplary Youth Union cadres and young cadres with the ability to lead and inspire.
