Under the scorching sun, at the training ground, Company 5 (Battalion 2) was focusing on training on occupying the field, artillery fortifications, and preparing to fire. The commander's command and the soldiers' unanimous shouts made the training atmosphere even more exciting and determined. The faces of eighteen and twenty-year-olds, dark and sweaty, with quick and precise movements and operations, clearly demonstrated the spirit of competition to make achievements in the historic April days, celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975/April 30, 2025) and the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday (May 19, 1890/May 19, 2025).

The 152mm D20 artillery battery (Company 5, Battalion 2) is diligently preparing fortification equipment for the firing position.

Wiping away the sweat rolling down his cheeks, Private Vo Tan Hai, a soldier of Company 5, shared: “Overcoming the difficulties of weather and high training intensity, we are all determined to complete the training content and competition targets well. To ensure that the artillery equipment is solid and meets standards, in addition to actively practicing the command movements and knowing how to use technical equipment proficiently, we also have to train our mettle, have a strong mentality, and maintain a good physical foundation.”

According to Lieutenant Colonel Do Van Thang, Political Commissar of Battalion 2, in implementing the peak emulation campaign "Lightning Speed ​​- Determined Victory", the Party Committee and Battalion Command have done a good job of educating and propagating the historical significance of the victory of the General Offensive and Uprising in the Spring of 1975, thereby helping cadres and soldiers to properly perceive their responsibilities for the cause of building and defending the Fatherland. In the process of organizing and implementing the emulation movement, the Battalion has concretized each aspect of work and specific tasks, made breakthroughs in overcoming weaknesses and weak points, promoted positivity, proactiveness, creativity, overcoming difficulties, and encouraged all soldiers to strive to compete in good training, good solidarity, and strict discipline.

"Sweat on the training ground, bleed less on the battlefield", ready to handle all situations successfully, in the hot and windy training ground, officers and soldiers of Battalion 2 still actively practice, promote the tradition of "Bravery, resilience - Solidarity, creativity - Good fighting, accurate shooting" of the heroic Artillery Brigade 572, determined to excellently complete all assigned tasks.
