Reviewing documents submitted to the 6th Special Session of the 10th Provincial People's Council in the fields of economy and budget

(VLO) On the afternoon of February 14, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Can - Head of the Economic - Budget Committee of the Provincial People's Council chaired the meeting to review documents submitted to the 6th Thematic Session of the 10th Provincial People's Council. Mr. Nguyen Minh Dung - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council attended.

Meeting to review the report on the use of provincial reserve budget in 2024; submission of the Draft Resolution (NQ) adjusting and supplementing Resolution No. 182 dated December 10, 2024 of the People's Council of Vinh Long province on the Socio-Economic Development Plan for 2025; submission of the Draft Resolution stipulating the authority to decide and approve tasks and budget estimates for purchasing assets and equipment for operations; regulations on decentralization of authority to decide and approve tasks and budgets for renovating, upgrading, expanding, and constructing new construction items in invested and constructed projects of agencies and units under the management of Vinh Long province; submission on soliciting opinions on the impact of the implementation of the Dinh Khao Bridge construction investment project connecting Vinh Long and Ben Tre provinces under the public-private partnership model.

At the meeting, delegates agreed with the reports and submissions... At the same time, they requested the drafting agency to clarify some contents. The Head of the Economic-Budget Committee of the Provincial People's Council requested to coordinate to complete the report before submitting it to the thematic session. At the same time, they should pay attention to ensuring that the issued Resolution is concise, with standard sentences, ensuring the format and policy.
