During the year, innovative initiatives helped increase the company's operational efficiency such as: The initiative to attach wheels to fish tanks, helping to move fish tanks to their destination quickly; taking cold cooling water from the cold storage to cool the factory roof in dry weather, hot season; installing grease and residue separation equipment for the wastewater treatment system...

 

Ms. Huynh Thi Bao Thuong, Director of Khatoco Phu Yen Tobacco Factory, shared: The emulation movement, contributing scientific and technological innovation initiatives, etc., has gradually been widely developed throughout the factory. Every year, the factory launches a labor emulation movement, striving to successfully implement the plan assigned by the corporation; attaching the responsibility of team leaders, heads/deputy heads of production departments in ensuring productivity and product quality.

 

“The factory organizes periodic emulation evaluations; promptly rewards and encourages individuals and groups that excel in production labor, in the form of adding points for monthly evaluation and classification if that month the machine efficiency is more than 6,080 bags/hour, achieving a bag-head ratio of 70.4 bags/kg of yarn/month, or adding points for individuals who are creative in their work and achieve efficiency compared to before, adding points for individuals when they receive awards, praising individuals who handle and overcome production problems well... This has stimulated workers to be more and more enthusiastic about their work, dedicated to their work, assured in production and long-term commitment", said Ms. Huynh Thi Bao Thuong.

 

According to the Phu Yen Economic Zone Management Board, the emulation movement in labor and production has contributed to promoting and developing the activities of enterprises. Every year, the management board mobilizes enterprises to participate in the emulation bloc; launches emulation movements in the production and business activities of enterprises. From the emulation movement and the achievements of enterprises, the unit has organized evaluation, review, and proposed timely rewards for enterprises with outstanding achievements to encourage and motivate.

 

With efforts in the emulation movement, applying innovative initiatives in production and business activities..., in 2024, the Provincial People's Committee awarded emulation flags to 3 collectives with outstanding achievements leading the patriotic emulation movement of the Emulation Block of enterprises in the Industrial Park under the Phu Yen Economic Zone Management Board. The Management Board also awarded certificates of merit to 3 collectives and 4 individuals with outstanding achievements.
