The art program "Forever love between army and people" was jointly organized by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union, the Border Guard Command and Dien Bien province.

Attending the program were: Mr. Do Van Chien, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; Ms. Truong My Hoa, former Secretary of the Party Central Committee, former Vice President, former Vice President of the National Assembly, former President of the Vietnam Women's Union; Ms. Ha Thi Khiet, former Secretary of the Party Central Committee, former Head of the Central Mass Mobilization Commission, former President of the Vietnam Women's Union; Ms. Ha Thi Nga, Member of the Party Central Committee, President of the Vietnam Women's Union; Mr. Tran Quoc Cuong, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Dien Bien Provincial Party Committee and leaders of central and local departments and units.
In her opening speech, Party Central Committee member and President of the Vietnam Women's Union Ha Thi Nga reviewed the heroic history of the long and arduous resistance war "Blood mixed with mud, unflinching courage, unwavering will" and ended with the Dien Bien Phu victory "famous in five continents - shaking the world".
Among them, the women, mothers, and sisters did not hesitate to endure hardships and sacrifices, actively participated in the resistance war, took care of soldiers and wounded soldiers, enthusiastically went to the frontline to work as laborers, supplied food, transported weapons, built roads, participated in communications work to serve the campaigns, the female militia and guerrilla movement, and worked as soldiers and enemy agitators to fight against the enemy...
During the resistance war against French colonialism, women nationwide contributed more than 9.5 million working days, of which more than 2 million working days served the Dien Bien Phu campaign.
Promoting the heroic historical tradition of the nation and of Vietnamese women, according to the President of the Vietnam Women's Union, in the current period, women's forces across the country have constantly strived to rise up, affirming their role and position, and making important contributions in many fields.
In particular, the Vietnam Women's Union has been carrying out many practical activities to affirm and enhance the position and role of women in the family and society, support women's comprehensive development, and promote gender equality. The Union promotes its core political role in women's work, contributing to building Vietnamese women of the new era who are knowledgeable, moral, healthy, and responsible for themselves, their families, society, and the country.
At the program, delegates will interact with guests who are former Dien Bien soldiers, poets, writers, and historical researchers, and review the heroic feats, the silent sacrifices that shine with the spirit of patriotism and determination to protect the Fatherland of the army and people at the fierce Dien Bien Phu battlefield.
Closing the program was a collective folk dance performance "Women of the whole country with Dien Bien" with a mashup of 3 songs: Through the Northwest, Dien Bien Victory, Inh La Oi, arranged and mixed by musician Luu Ha An.
On this occasion, the Vietnam Women's Union and the Border Guard Command presented more than 70 Great Solidarity houses and nearly 500 gifts, worth more than 5 billion VND in total, with the deep affection of members, women from 63 provinces/cities, women in the People's Public Security, People's Army, businesswomen, intellectuals, Vietnamese women abroad and border guards nationwide to the people of all ethnic groups in Dien Bien province.
