(NLDO) – Many meaningful activities were organized to bring the atmosphere of the new spring of At Ty 2025 to the people of Ly Son island district.
From January 19 to 20, in Ly Son island district (Quang Ngai), the Command of Coast Guard Region 2 coordinated with the Quang Ngai Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Committee to organize the program "Island Tet - Warm Spring, Warm military-civilian affection" to welcome the spring of At Ty year 2025.
Colonel Tran Hong Que, Deputy Political Commissar of Coast Guard Region 2, Ms. Vo Thi Tuyet Nhung, Deputy Head of the Mass Mobilization Committee of Quang Ngai Provincial Party Committee, along with officers and soldiers of the armed forces and union members and youth of the island district attended the program.

At the program, officers and soldiers of the Coast Guard, Navy, Border Guard, Police, District Military Command and officers and members of the Ly Son District Youth Union participated in the "Green Chung Cake Wrapping" Contest and gave Chung cakes to disadvantaged households in Ly Son island district.
With the desire to bring the Tet atmosphere of a new spring of At Ty 2025 to the people of the island district, the Command of Coast Guard Region 2 presented 80 gifts (each worth 1 million VND) to fishing families in difficult circumstances, thereby contributing with the local Party Committee and government of the island district to take care of Tet for the people, especially families in difficult circumstances.
Also on this occasion, Colonel Tran Hong Que, Deputy Political Commissar of Coast Guard Region 2, inspected the combat readiness and preparation for the Lunar New Year of At Ty of Coast Guard Station 2 and wished Ly Son District a happy new year.
