Tekken 8 Demo Coming to Platforms This Month
Bandai Namco said that Tekken 8 will continue the tragic story of the Mishima and Kazama clans, focusing on the vengeful battles between father and son. In the latest chapter, Jin Kazama will face his father, Kazuya Mishima, who caused war and global destruction. The story will provide a main experience that ranges from Hollywood-class cutscenes to climactic battles. Additionally, separate character cinematics will provide deeper insight into the personal stories of each character in the game.
The game will also feature a new Arcade Quest single-player mode, where players create their own characters and compete in online top-tier matches across regions, aiming to rise to the top of the world.
Tekken 8 was officially announced in September 2022 during the PlayStation State of Play livestream, and is scheduled to release on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. Currently, the game's official release date is scheduled for January 26, 2024.
