Strengthening the dissemination of results of handling all types of crimes

Responding to voters' petitions, the Ministry of Information and Communications said that currently, the country has 06 key multimedia communication agencies, 127 newspaper agencies, 671 magazine agencies (including 319 scientific magazines, 72 literary and artistic magazines), and 72 radio and television stations.

Under the leadership, direction and information orientation of the Party and State, with the viewpoint of "using beauty to eliminate ugliness", news agencies, especially major radio and television stations, have proactively, promptly and effectively propagated major issues of the country, especially with information content that clearly demonstrates the role of leading, unifying awareness, orienting public opinion, creating trust, creating social consensus, arousing the aspiration to develop a prosperous and happy country; contributing to the development of culture, economy, society and building Vietnamese people and meeting the cultural enjoyment values ​​of the people.

Accordingly, in recent times, press agencies and radio and television stations have continuously improved the quality of program content on Party building and rectification; building a clean and strong Party and political system in all aspects, building a streamlined State that operates effectively and efficiently, as well as news, articles, and information and propaganda programs on corruption prevention and control, and the results of handling various types of crimes. Many newspapers and radio stations have implemented new columns and programs on this issue, contributing to mobilizing the strength of the entire population in detecting corruption and negativity, creating consensus in society, and improving the effectiveness of corruption prevention and control.

- Synthesizing the reported data, in the first 6 months of 2024, Vietnam Television has produced and broadcast over 300 news, articles, and reports on the results of handling various types of crimes; nearly 50 news, articles, and reports on corruption prevention and control work nationwide. Some outstanding programs include: Talkshow "Wholeheartedly for the common cause", Talkshow "Regulation 144 - Measure and evaluation of cadres and party members"; Party Building and Rectification Program; For national security, Security and life, Front 389, For a peaceful life...

On some national essential television channels and local essential television channels, there are programs and topics on corruption prevention and control that are highly appreciated by the audience, such as on the People's Public Security Television channel, the topic "Better awareness of distorted arguments about Vietnam's corruption prevention and control work" is broadcast; on the National Assembly Television channel, the topic "Maintaining the integrity of cadres and party members in the new period" and news and articles on "Identifying criminals" is broadcast...; on the VTC Television channel, the topic "Need a "breakthrough" in corruption prevention and control is broadcast; on the Hanoi Radio and Television channel, the work (book) of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong on corruption prevention and control and negativity is broadcast...

- Electronic newspapers and magazines have had 27,197 news and information articles about the results of handling various types of crimes and the work of preventing and combating corruption nationwide widely reported.

In the coming time, the Ministry of Information and Communications will continue to direct news agencies and newspapers to increase reporting, build specialized pages and broadcast columns on the results of handling crimes and anti-corruption work. In particular, direct radio and television stations to increase reporting on social media channels and the Internet to increase access to all classes of people quickly and promptly./.
