According to comrade Nguyen Duc Loi, the Vietnam Journalists Association Cup Table Tennis Tournament has been and continues to be an attractive playground for members and journalists to participate in competitions, arousing passion for sports, improving health, strengthening solidarity and colleagues in the press; thereby creating motivation to help journalists have more love for their profession, strive to fulfill well the political tasks and responsibilities of the press to society.
"The Vietnam Journalists Association believes that this year's tournament will continue to spread and affirm the growth of the sports movement in all levels of the Association and press agencies, truly becoming a festival for journalists nationwide, creating the premise for the success of the following seasons," said comrade Nguyen Duc Loi.
The Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam Journalists Association requested that athletes participating in the competition promote solidarity, compete honestly, demonstrate a noble spirit, dedicate to the audience good and attractive matches, create cultural beauty in sports, select excellent teams and athletes to stand on the podium to receive the Championship Cup and medals of the Tournament.

Sharing at the Opening Ceremony, journalist Nguyen Trung Kien - Head of the VOV athlete delegation acknowledged that the Vietnam Journalists Association Cup Table Tennis Tournament has become a prestigious brand. The tournament not only creates a sports playground for journalists to participate and practice, but is also a meeting place to connect regions, central journalists with local journalists to exchange experiences and skills in the profession, strengthening the spirit of solidarity of journalists across the country.
"This year, the VOV delegation participated in the tournament with 21 athletes - second in the overall delegation after VTV. We saw that the organization of the Organizing Committee was very thoughtful, increasing the enthusiasm of the athletes," said journalist Nguyen Trung Kien.
As an athlete of the Vietnam News Agency Association, a unit considered a strong candidate for high prizes in this year's season, reporter Nguyen Trong Hanh shared that despite the busy work at the end of the year, the Vietnam News Agency delegation still tried to arrange to attend the Tournament with an enthusiastic spirit, and was determined to achieve high prizes as well as contribute to the tournament with exciting and quality table tennis matches.

Reporter Nguyen Trong Hanh said that this year, the Organizing Committee has applied digitalization in the preparation and organization stages, so the registration and drawing of lots are faster. Information about time, location, dress code and other requirements are clearly understood by the athletes, promising a successful and professional season.
The 16th Vietnam Journalists Association Cup Table Tennis Tournament - 2023 will take place from December 13 to 15, at Trinh Hoai Duc Gymnasium (Dong Da, Hanoi). The Organizing Committee will award trophies, flags, medals, and prizes to teams, pairs, and individuals who win first, second, and third prizes in each competition. The total prize value is 119,000,000 VND, excluding secondary prizes.
