TPO – On the last day of the September 2nd holiday, people in Ho Chi Minh City flocked to shopping malls to eat and have fun. Although there were more customers than usual, there was no crowding or overloading.

On the afternoon of September 3, at large shopping centers in Ho Chi Minh City such as Vincom (District 1), Van Hanh Mall (District 10), Aeon... the number of visitors coming to have fun is increasing.

“In the past, I took my family to visit the Independence Palace, have fun at Dam Sen, the Zoo and Botanical Garden… but every day I had to go halfway and return because it often rained in the afternoon. Taking advantage of the last day of the September 2nd holiday, I took my children to the shopping mall to eat and have fun,” said Ms. Thanh Nha (living on Nguyen Van Luong Street, District 6).

According to Ms. Nha, the shopping mall has many services from shopping, dining, watching movies, children's play areas... so you can have fun all day and still not finish.

At the children's play area, parents only need to buy a ticket once and their children can play all day with a variety of intellectual and useful games. "Although it is a holiday, the ticket price is the same as usual, there are more children so it is more fun" - Ms. Binh (living in District 5) said.

Parents can sit back and relax while watching their children play and chatting together.

Many discount programs cover the stalls in the shopping mall. During the holidays, businesses take advantage of launching products to attract customers.

The food court is always crowded with customers. “Although it is a holiday, the number of customers has increased, but there is no need to jostle or wait, so I really like it. The products are fresh and delicious, there are many discount programs, so I bring my children here to eat and drink to celebrate September 2nd” – a happy customer said.

The dining area is almost full. “Going to supermarkets and shopping malls to eat is both delicious and more economical than going to restaurants” – Mr. Trong (from Long An) shared.

Meanwhile, restaurants in shopping malls are also full, with waiters constantly serving customers. Restaurants do not charge extra or increase prices during the holiday.

There were no more seats, many customers sat outside waiting for staff to arrange. However, the waiting time was not too long.

The number of visitors gradually increased in the early afternoon. “I went back to my hometown for the September 2nd holiday, then returned to Ho Chi Minh City early to avoid traffic jams. As soon as I arrived in the city, I took my whole family to the shopping mall to eat, but it was too crowded so I had to wait. However, I was still very happy to see the bustling scene here,” said Mr. Hoang (from An Giang).

Many parents let their children sleep "wildly" on shopping carts, regaining strength in the evening to continue playing before returning to work after the holidays.
