Quang Nam Department of Transport directs response to storm No. 6 on route DT606

The Department of Transport requested the directors of Dong Phong Consulting and Construction Joint Stock Company (contractor managing and regularly maintaining route DT606), Khanh Anh Investment and Construction Joint Stock Company (contractor currently repairing the section km14+592 - km43+300, route DT606) to focus on directing the continued implementation of the contents according to the conclusion of the Director of the Department of Transport at the meeting to inspect the preparation for, prevention and response to storm No. 6. Focus on organizing 24/24 hour duty.

The functional sector directed Dong Phong Consulting and Construction Joint Stock Company to continue implementing natural disaster prevention plans on each route according to the established plan, especially at key locations that are frequently subject to landslides. Arrange forces, equipment, signs, and reserve materials according to the "4 on-site" principle to deploy and ensure traffic in the fastest time when a situation occurs. Check and prepare enough equipment, fuel, and drivers to always be ready to respond and overcome damage.

The unit that manages and maintains the DT606 route regularly coordinates closely with localities and units to support the provision of information, mobilize human resources and equipment on site to support traffic safety, promptly clear the route for rescue and relief work. When a situation occurs, immediately implement measures to barricade and warn to ensure traffic safety, safety of traffic participants' lives and promptly report to the Department of Transport.

Khanh Anh Investment and Construction Joint Stock Company proactively implements measures to ensure smooth and safe traffic on the section under repair. Move people to a safe place, gather machinery and equipment in convenient places, do not obstruct traffic to be ready to coordinate and support other units in case of traffic jams, search and rescue.

The leaders of the Department of Transport respectfully request the People's Committee of Tay Giang district to direct relevant departments, units and People's Committees of communes to support and coordinate with the management and maintenance units of route DT606 in providing information, ensuring traffic in step 1, and cleaning up when trees fall and cause traffic jams to ensure traffic circulation in the fastest time.

It is known that DT606 is a vital road connecting Ho Chi Minh road to the border of Tay Giang district. The road is prone to landslides if there is prolonged heavy rain, causing traffic congestion. According to the plan to arrange forces and materials at key points at risk of being affected and damaged by storms on DT606, Dong Phong Consulting and Construction Joint Stock Company has arranged 15 workers and machine drivers, service cars, construction site signs, labor tools, generators... The road has 8 landslide locations that need attention, the company has coordinated to arrange warning signs and tie reflective ropes to barriers.
