A representative of the Hai Phong Department of Education and Training informed that immediately after Circular 29 was issued, the Department instructed district-level Departments of Education and Training, High Schools, and Continuing Education Centers in the area to strictly implement regulations on extra teaching and learning.
For businesses, organizations and individuals registered to operate in the education sector, the Department recommends that they carefully study Circular 29 of the Ministry of Education and Training to strictly implement related contents in accordance with regulations and take responsibility for any violations during the implementation process.
Also according to Dan Viet reporters, all schools in Hai Phong have stopped teaching extra classes, some schools have adjusted their schedules so that students have Saturdays off.
In Hai Phong, from the afternoon of February 13, Cong Hien High School (Vinh Bao), Tran Nguyen Han High School... sent text messages to parents' phone numbers informing them that they would stop extra teaching and learning in the school from February 14.
In Hai An district, most secondary schools have developed new schedules, flexible in arranging subjects, ensuring the correct number of periods and study time per week.
At Le Loi Secondary School and Trang Cat Secondary School, from February 17, all students will study according to a new schedule; in which students of all grades will have Saturdays off.
At Dang Hai Secondary School (Hai An District), from February 24, the school will apply a new schedule and let students take Saturdays off.
Previously, on February 8, the school sent a notice to parents about the plan to stop tutoring in school from February 14 for all grades 6 - 7 - 8 - 9. Along with that, the notice emphasized that teachers currently teaching at public schools are not allowed to tutor outside of school for money from students that the teacher is assigned by the school to teach according to the school's educational plan.
With the news that schools will let students take Saturdays off when they stop extra classes at school, many parents are worried that their children will get lost in the internet or socialize outside, refusing to study. Some parents agree with this approach because it will give them time to rest, go out with their families on weekends...
