Experience green space for autistic children
Recently, more than 70 families participated in the event "Green space for autistic children" at Khanh Son Ecopark. This was not only a fun festival but also an opportunity for children to exercise, interact and express their emotions in an open, safe and friendly environment.
At the event, children participated in many activities close to nature such as gardening, fishing, chasing ducks, drawing... The atmosphere was bustling and joyful but still ensured to be suitable for children's sensory characteristics. Many parents were moved to share that in just a few short hours, they felt positive changes in their children - a more flexible gaze, more laughter or the initiative to hold their parents' hands to explore new things.

One parent shared: "We used to struggle with many environments, but only when our child experienced a green space and exercised properly did we see real changes. He smiled more, cooperated more, was more agile, more flexible, and it seemed that nature had given him a very special source of energy."
Open Learning Space – The Key to Change
Many families with children with autism spectrum disorder recognize that the space where they play and learn has a huge impact on their child’s development. While many classrooms today are still confined to closed rooms, children with autism need flexible, natural environments to learn and play more effectively.
Science has shown that feeling, movement and interaction with the environment are important factors in helping children develop comprehensively. When children learn in spaces with soft lighting, friendly colors and comfortable materials, they will feel safer and more willing to communicate.

According to architect Magda Mostafa, sensory design plays a key role in shaping children’s behavior and ability to focus. When spaces become sensory experiences rather than overloads, children reach their full potential.
Khanh Son Ecopark – Green Ecological Model for Autistic Children
Khanh Son Ecopark Center is not only an experiential space but also a special educational model, placing children at the center. Here, nature is not only a friend but also a teacher of children.

The learning environment is designed to help children develop naturally and sustainably. From outdoor classrooms under the trees, sand playgrounds, water pools to small gravel paths for children to walk barefoot - all are aimed at supporting the comprehensive development of children. In addition, the center also has an indoor sports area with ball pits, climbing walls... divided into functional groups for early intervention, skills education and career guidance for children.
According to the center's representative, the "Green Eco" model in Khanh Son is not simply architecture but also an educational philosophy. There, movement, feeling and interaction with nature are not secondary activities, but the "language" for children to connect and develop.
