Vietnamese celebrities contribute billions more to help people in flood-hit areas

Vietnamese artists have been reaching out to flood victims in recent days. They have donated money or gone directly to the affected areas to give gifts.

As of September 12, Vietnamese artists continued to take meaningful actions to support and share the pain of people struggling with storms and floods in recent days. Among them, 33 talented artists from Anh trai qua ngan cong gai have together raised more than 230 million VND to send to the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front.

“The 33 of us, each with different circumstances and conditions, have different personal activities to support our compatriots who are greatly affected by storms and floods in the Northern region. We have agreed with all our hearts, depending on each person's circumstances and conditions, no matter how much or how little, to contribute to the fund of 33 talented people supporting our compatriots and people in the North. After 2 days, we have received more than 230 million VND to send to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee. With all our sharing and love, the 33 talented people pray that the storm and flood will pass quickly and that people will soon return to normal life,” Tien Luat wrote.

Also on September 12, Tuan Hung donated 100 million VND. In addition, Tuan Hung also plans to hold a live show with Duy Manh to support the people. Meanwhile, Soobin Hoang Son went directly to Phu Binh district, Thai Nguyen province to contribute necessities and food to the people there. "I hope that the families facing difficulties will overcome the recent floods. There are still many places that need help, so I hope everyone will join hands with the North of our country," Soobin wrote.

Diep Lam Anh and Nhat Kim Anh went directly to the flood-hit area to support people.

Just landed at Noi Bai airport on the morning of September 12, Diep Lam Anh and her group of friends traveled to Yen Bai to donate 300 packages of medicine and medical equipment, 400 snow blankets, and 320 packages of food. DJ Trang Moon and her volunteer group brought more than 5 tons of goods including water, milk, food, etc. to many different localities in Yen Bai, Phu Tho, and Tuyen Quang in recent days. Actress Thuy Anh's group brought clean water and necessities to Bao Yen, Lao Cai.

Nhat Kim Anh supports   1.3 billion VND , Truong Giang - Nha Phuong couple 200 million VND, Lam Hung and BRay each 100 million VND. Noo Phuoc Thinh, Kha Nhu, actress Lan Phuong each contributed 50 million VND. Ngo Kien Huy, Kha Ngan, Quang Trung... also donated to the flood victims but have not revealed the amount.

Meanwhile, Phuong My Chi announced the postponement of her show in Hanoi on September 22. The 8Wonder Moon Festival scheduled to take place from September 13-15 has also been canceled. The event was originally scheduled to take place from September 6-9, but was postponed to September 13-15 due to storms. However, the organizers recently announced the cancellation and will refund 100% of tickets to those who have purchased tickets.

Artist My Uyen has also just announced that when artists come to Stage 5B to worship the profession's ancestors on September 14, instead of preparing offerings, they will use all of the funds to support people in flood-hit areas. The total amount of donations will be publicly listed and transferred to the Ho Chi Minh City Fatherland Front Committee.
