Currently, candidates can log in to the system to print the exam notification form. The exam notification form will have detailed information about the exam location, exam room, registration number, and the time the candidate needs to be present in the exam room.
40,455 candidates completed exam registration
The second round of the competency assessment exam was organized by Ho Chi Minh City National University in coordination with other units on Sunday morning (June 2) in 14 provinces and cities including: Thua Thien Hue, Da Nang, Binh Dinh, Khanh Hoa, Ninh Thuan, Dak Lak, Lam Dong, Ho Chi Minh City, Ba Ria - Vung Tau, Dong Nai, Binh Duong, Tien Giang, An Giang and Ca Mau.
According to the examination council, the number of localities organizing the second round of the Ho Chi Minh City National University's capacity assessment exam has increased by 2 provinces (Ninh Thuan and Ca Mau) compared to the original plan, in order to create favorable conditions for candidates in the above areas to participate in the exam.
Dr. Nguyen Quoc Chinh, Director of the Center for Testing and Training Quality Assessment (Ho Chi Minh City National University), said that 40,455 candidates have completed the registration procedures for the second round of the competency assessment exam. Thus, the total number of candidates registering for the second round of the competency assessment exam this year is nearly 2,000 less than the number of candidates taking the same exam last year (last year there were 42,294 candidates taking the exam).
Ho Chi Minh City is the locality with the largest number of candidates registering for the exam with nearly 21,700 candidates, followed by Dong Nai (2,435 candidates), Da Nang (2,251 candidates) and An Giang (2,020 candidates).
If counting the number of candidates who registered for both rounds, the competency assessment exam organized by Ho Chi Minh City National University attracted a record number of registrations with more than 106,000 candidates. Of which, the number of candidates registered for both rounds was 28,000 candidates.
What should candidates note?

The Ho Chi Minh City National University's Competency Assessment Council notes that candidates must be present at the examination room at the scheduled time of 7:30 a.m. on June 2.
When taking the exam, candidates need to bring the exam notice (printed from http://thinangluc.vnuhcm.edu.vn/), valid identification documents as prescribed and other documents announced in the exam notice (if any).
Candidates must present valid identification documents, including one of the following documents (original, valid, with personal information matching the information registered for the exam): identity card, citizen identification card, passport.
"Candidates who do not bring the required identification documents will not be allowed to take the exam. If a candidate loses his/her ID card, he/she must have a passport (original, still valid) with information that matches the registered information (full name, date of birth, ID number) to be allowed to take the exam," Dr. Nguyen Quoc Chinh added.
In case you do not bring your exam admission notice, you must be present at the examination council room at least 30 minutes before the candidate gathering time to complete the necessary procedures.
If there are any errors in the last name, middle name, first name, date of birth, contact information (email, phone number, address) in the list of candidates and the exam admission notice, candidates must immediately report to the exam supervisor before the exam time for timely handling. Candidates must comply with the orders of the exam supervisor and the instructions of the exam supervisor.
15 minutes late will not be allowed to take the exam
7:30 am June 2, candidates are called into the exam room (to do procedures, listen to regulations...), start taking the exam at 8:30 am, and end at 11 am.
In case a candidate arrives at the examination room door after the signal to start the test time between 8:30 and 8:45, the invigilator 1 will check the information and identify the correct candidate before allowing the candidate to enter the examination room to take the test.
In case a candidate arrives at the examination room door 15 minutes after the test time signal (after 8:45 am, from the examination room door), he/she will not be allowed to take the exam. The examination center will keep the candidate in the council room until the end of the exam time.
Rules for entering the exam room
When entering the examination room, candidates must comply with the regulations: present the examination admission notice and valid identification documents to the examination officer.
Only pens, black pencils, compasses, erasers, rulers, calculators are allowed into the examination room; pocket calculators without text editing function, without memory cards to store data, without functions to send - receive information and record audio - video; Vietnam Geography Atlas (published by Vietnam Education Publishing House, no markings or additional content allowed).
Not allowed in the examination room: scratch paper, test papers, carbon paper, erasers, documents, invisible pens, weapons, explosives, flammable substances, beer, alcohol, technical means of transmitting and receiving information, information storage devices, other items that can be used to cheat during the test taking and grading process. When entering the examination room, if a candidate still brings documents or items that are not allowed to be brought as mentioned above, even if they have not used them, they will be suspended from the examination.
