(NLDO) – The price of SJC gold bars and gold rings continues to remain unchanged, with some places buying gold bars at the highest price of 83.9 million VND/tael.
On the morning of December 18, SJC gold bar price was listed by SJC Company at 82.6 million VND/tael for buying and 85.1 million VND/tael for selling, stable compared to yesterday.
This is also the transaction price of SJC gold bars at PNJ, DOJI, and Bao Tin Minh Chau.
Commercial banks continue to list different buying prices, such as: Sacombank buys 82.6 million VND, Eximbank 83.1 million VND and ACB buys up to 83.8 million VND/tael of gold bars. Meanwhile, the selling price is equal to that of gold companies.
Domestic gold prices have stagnated over the past two days.
Notably, the Mi Hong gold shop chain has the highest buying price of gold bars, up to 83.9 million VND, while selling lower than other units by 100,000 VND/tael. Both buying and selling prices of this gold shop decreased by 100,000 - 200,000 VND compared to the previous day.
Similarly, the prices of 24K gold rings and jewelry gold of all kinds also fluctuated little. SJC Company traded plain gold rings at VND82.6 million/tael for purchase and VND84.3 million/tael for sale. PNJ, Mi Hong, DOJI listed gold rings at similar prices for purchase and sale.
Domestic gold prices have stagnated while world prices have also fluctuated little. In the international market, gold prices today were traded at $2,649/ounce, down about $5/ounce compared to the previous session. Gold prices have not been able to break out as the market is waiting for the US Federal Reserve's (FED) policy meeting; the USD remains high at around 106.6 points and digital currencies like Bitcoin continuously set new record highs.
In the domestic market, gold prices also fluctuated mainly in price, the market was quite quiet. However, there was still a surprise when a gold giant, PNJ Company, just announced its business results for the 11 months of 2024, showing net revenue of VND 35,210 billion and profit after tax of VND 1,876 billion, up 19.4% and 8.3% respectively over the same period. With this result, PNJ achieved nearly 90% of the annual profit plan.
