According to the scheduled program, the National Assembly will open at 8:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 12. After the opening speech of National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man, the National Assembly will listen to the Government's Submission and the Economic Committee's Verification Report on the Supplementary Project on Socio-Economic Development in 2025 with a growth target of 8% or more; listen to the Submission and Verification Report on the Draft Law on Amending and Supplementing a Number of Articles of the Law on the Organization of the National Assembly; and the Submission and Verification Report on the Draft Law on Promulgation of Legal Documents (amended). Next, the National Assembly will discuss in groups the two above-mentioned draft laws.

In the afternoon of the same day, the National Assembly listened to the Submission and the Verification Report on the draft Law on Government Organization (amended); the draft Law on Local Government Organization (amended); the draft Resolution of the National Assembly regulating the handling of a number of issues related to the arrangement of the state apparatus; and discussed in the hall the draft Law on amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on the Organization of the National Assembly.
In the following days, the National Assembly spent time discussing draft laws and resolutions; and giving opinions on the investment policy for the Lao Cai - Hanoi - Hai Phong railway project; the draft Resolution on piloting a number of specific and special mechanisms and policies to develop the urban railway network system in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City; the draft Resolution on piloting a number of policies to remove obstacles in science, technology and innovation activities; specific mechanisms and policies to build nuclear power plants in Ninh Thuan; on the investment plan to supplement charter capital for the period 2024 - 2026 of the parent company - Vietnam Expressway Corporation (VEC)...
In particular, at this session, the National Assembly will hold a separate meeting on personnel work; consider and decide on the organizational structure and number of members of the Government for the 15th National Assembly term; consider and pass a Resolution on the organization of National Assembly agencies and the number of members of the 15th National Assembly Standing Committee... The session is expected to close on the morning of February 19.
