Hung Temple Festival is held on the 10th day of the 3rd lunar month every year. However, right from the first days of the new year, many people from all over the country come here to offer incense. Because in the mind of every Vietnamese person, Hung Temple is a sacred land, a place where the sacred souls of mountains and rivers converge, worshiping the Hung Kings - the ancestors of the Vietnamese people.
In the first days of the new year of At Ty, the weather is sunny and beautiful, people from many places in Phu Tho province and neighboring areas have come to Hung Temple to bring incense, flowers, and respectful offerings to the Hung Kings. According to the Hung Temple Historical Relic Site: During the 3 days of the Lunar New Year At Ty 2025, the Hung Temple Historical Relic Site welcomed thousands of tourists and locals to offer incense and visit the scenery. Mr. Tran Huu Trung - Bach Hac ward, Viet Tri city said that despite being busy with many jobs, he, his wife and 2 children still took time to go to Hung Temple on the first day of Tet. This has been a habit of Mr. Trung's family for many years.

Au Co Temple Festival opens spring festivals in Phu Tho province

In Hien Luong commune, Ha Hoa district, the Au Co Temple Festival this year will take place on February 3-4, 2025 (January 6 and 7). Au Co Temple is a special historical and cultural work, a symbol of patriotism and the tradition of national unity. Legend has it that it was here that Mother Au Co taught the Hien Luong people to grow rice, grow mulberry, raise silkworms, and weave cloth. After flying back to heaven with fairies on December 25, she left a pink silk strip under the banyan tree. Right from the first day of spring, people from all over the country turn to the National Mother Temple to offer incense to show their respect to the Mother Goddess, praying for a peaceful new year.

The Au Co Temple Festival is one of the major festivals, opening many unique festival activities in Phu Tho province taking place in early spring. In recent years, with the attention of the Party, the State, the Provincial Party Committee, the People's Council, the Provincial People's Committee and Ha Hoa district, along with the sincere contributions of organizations and individuals, the Au Co Temple Relic Site has been gradually restored and renovated, worthy of being a gathering place for descendants from all over the country to return to the roots of the Fairy Dragon lineage. In 1991, the Au Co Temple was recognized as a National Historical and Cultural Relic. In 2017, the Au Co Mother Worship Belief was recognized as a National Intangible Cultural Heritage. In 2020, the Au Co Statue was recognized as a national treasure.

After a long journey of spring travel, participating in festivals and visiting historical and cultural relics, tourists can come and relax at natural hot mineral water tourist attractions in Thanh Thuy district; attend the Lang Suong Temple Festival taking place from February 11 to 13, 2025 (ie from January 14 to 16, At Ty year). Lang Suong Temple is located in Dong Trung commune, where the legend of Saint Tan Vien Son (Son Tinh) is preserved, associated with the worship of "Tu Bat Tu", honored by the people as "The most sacred, the first lucky god" in Vietnamese folk culture. The temple was recognized as a National Historical Relic in 2005.
Lang Suong Temple Festival is a national intangible cultural heritage with traditional rituals preserved for generations, including the unique water procession from the Da River. Lang Suong Temple was built during the reign of Thuc An Duong Vuong, with a "cong"-shaped architecture consisting of 3 main worship rooms and 3 rear palace rooms, located on a flat land, facing the Da River, with its back leaning against a solid mountain range. This is the only relic that worships the entire family of Saint Tan Vien.
Exploiting its own advantages with natural hot mineral water resources, Thanh Thuy has formed eco-tourism areas, hot mineral baths, and resort service complexes with attractive tourism products, leading the modern resort trend of combining relaxation and health care. During the Lunar New Year 2025 alone, tourist areas and spots in the province welcomed about 300,000 tourists and people; of which about 17,200 were overnight guests; the average room occupancy rate of tourist accommodation establishments was estimated at about 46%. Tourism service revenue reached about 138 billion VND, up 14% over the same period.
To meet the needs of tourists during the Lunar New Year 2025 and in the early spring, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism has coordinated with localities; directed tourism businesses to proactively promote their strengths, build and innovate, diversify tourism products to increase new experiences, create highlights to attract more and more tourists. At the same time, ensure the safety of tourists, avoid price gouging, and food safety and hygiene. Along with that, all tourist destinations in the province have fully prepared the conditions of facilities and human resources, ready to welcome tourists in the early days of spring.
