Van Yen spreads the political contest to protect the Party's ideological foundation

Yen Bai - In recent times, especially in 2024, the Steering Committee 35 of Van Yen district has proactively and actively performed its tasks, closely following the direction of the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee and the Provincial Steering Committee 35.

Van Yen district won the C prize in the political writing contest on protecting the ideological foundation of Yen Bai province launched in 2024.

Propaganda, political and ideological education, raising awareness for cadres, party members and people about the role and importance of protecting the Party's ideological foundation, fighting against erroneous and hostile views have been carried out with rich, creative and effective content. One of the outstanding results of propaganda work is the direction of responding to and participating in the Political Contest on protecting the Party's ideological foundation, fighting against erroneous and hostile views launched by the province in 2024. The contest has created a strong influence in firmly protecting the Party's ideological foundation.

Accordingly, implementing Plan No. 264 of the Provincial Steering Committee 35 on organizing the Contest, the Steering Committee 35 of Van Yen district issued Plan No. 238 to direct the implementation throughout the district. Comrade Vu Minh Hue - Standing Deputy Secretary of Van Yen District Party Committee said: "From the experience of leading and directing the implementation of the Contest in previous years, the 35 District Steering Committee has closely followed right from the stage of issuing the Implementation Plan. The new point in 2024 is to assign specific writing targets to each department, branch, organization and grassroots to determine the responsibility of Party committees, Party organizations, cadres, Party members and people for the task of protecting the Party's ideological foundation, fighting against wrong and hostile views through the articles participating in the contest. In addition, the 35 District Steering Committee continues to do a good job of propagating the Contest through conferences and meetings; propagating on media such as radio, on the fanpage of the 35 District Steering Committee. At the same time, regularly disseminate in the Steering Committee group, grassroots propaganda group and direct propaganda in separate groups of local agencies, units and organizations such as Zalo, Mocha35".

When implementing the Political Writing Contest, Steering Committee 35 and grassroots party organizations carefully studied the purpose and requirements, especially the topic group of the Contest. The topic content participating in the Contest is group 3 - the group of practices and experiences in organizing the protection of the Party's ideological foundation, fighting against erroneous and hostile viewpoints, articles on results and practical experiences in the process of agencies, units and establishments implementing in conjunction with their functions and tasks, mobilizing a large number of cadres, party members, armed forces, union members, association members and people to participate.

During the process of receiving entries, the Steering Committee of 35 districts regularly exchanges and guides the establishments; notifies the progress of the submission of documents of each establishment to both remind and encourage, creating a competitive atmosphere to respond and participate among localities and units.

Comrade Vu Minh Hue - Standing Deputy Secretary of Van Yen District Party Committee added: "2024 is the first year that the Political Contest on protecting the Party's ideological foundation, fighting against wrong and hostile views launched by the province is organized by the Provincial Steering Committee 35. Surpassing more than 2,000 works by authors and groups of authors from agencies, units and localities throughout the province, the work "Protecting the Party's ideological foundation - Van Yen district's way of doing things" by the group of authors Thu Nhai - Hoang Linh was awarded the C prize by the Organizing Committee and is 1 of 27 excellent works awarded at this Contest. In addition, Van Yen was commended by the Organizing Committee as an excellent collective in participating in the Contest. This demonstrates the attention and importance of the Standing Committee and the Standing Committee of Van Yen District Party Committee to the task of protecting the Party's ideological foundation, fighting against wrong and hostile views".

Along with that, in 2024, Steering Committee 35 of Van Yen district will also effectively implement peak campaigns of propaganda, sharing official and positive information, fighting against wrong and hostile views before, during and after key political events, major holidays of the country and the province. In particular, this is a year with important milestones: the 60th anniversary of the district's founding (December 16, 1964 - December 16, 2024), the entire political system is determined to strive to achieve new rural standards by the end of 2024... Therefore, propaganda work is increasingly interested and focused on, with innovation in content, form and dissemination objects, ensuring diversity, flexibility, creativity, attractiveness and effectiveness; increasing the application of information technology in propaganda work.

Notably, the contest was organized to build and design videos and clips to promote models, advanced examples, good people and good deeds in studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style; the question-and-answer document was published to promote the 60th anniversary of the district's founding and the organization of extensive political activities throughout the district's Party Committee; and the online contest to learn about Van Yen district's 60 years of construction and growth was organized.

At the same time, in coordination with the Provincial Literature and Arts Association, the photo book "Van Yen - The Land of Memories" was published. The above results have significantly contributed to the effective implementation of the propaganda work on the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws, creating unity in perception and action to carry out political tasks in the locality as well as the task of protecting the Party's ideological foundation, fighting against erroneous and hostile views in the new situation.

In the coming time, Steering Committee 35 of Van Yen district will continue to raise awareness and responsibility as well as the attention and leadership of Party committees and organizations on the task of protecting the Party's ideological foundation, fighting against and refuting wrong and hostile viewpoints; including leadership and direction in innovating the organization of propaganda forms through organizing competitions and contests and responding to and participating in competitions launched by superiors; regularly having active and effective coordination between Steering Committee member branches, localities, agencies and units in implementing the task of protecting the Party's ideological foundation, fighting against and refuting wrong and hostile viewpoints, especially in providing information in all fields to ensure compliance with regulations to facilitate the process of researching, processing information and preparing documents for contest entries; regularly guiding, urging and reminding the implementation of assigned tasks; Encourage, motivate and commend localities, units and individuals who do well in responding to and participating in the Contest.

In 2024, Van Yen district had 259 entries participating in the Contest with 3 topics; of which, the magazine, radio, and newspaper categories exceeded the province's target of 229 entries, 19.9 times higher than in 2023.
