Summary of literary and artistic work in 2024

Dien Bien TV - On the afternoon of February 11, the Provincial Literature and Arts Association held a conference to review the literature and arts work in 2024 and deploy tasks for 2025. In 2024, the Provincial Literature and Arts Association launched the creation and publication of 12 issues of Dien Bien Literature and Arts Magazine with a total of 5,400 copies; published 3 combined issues to serve major events such as: Spring Giap Thin 2024, commemorating the 70th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory and welcoming the 7th Provincial Literature and Arts Association Congress. The literature and arts associations published 6 literature and arts books. On the occasion of the 70th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory, the Association hosted the 23rd Northern Mountainous Region Art Photography Festival, attracting over 2,200 works by more than 300 authors from 15 northern mountainous provinces to participate...

In 2025, the Provincial Literature and Arts Association has proposed many groups of tasks and solutions for implementation; focusing on educational work to raise awareness, ideology, and political qualities for the team of artists in the whole province...

Comrade Giang Thi Hoa, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, Chairman of the Provincial Literature and Arts Association, presented membership certificates to new members.

Speaking at the Conference, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vu A Bang acknowledged and commended the results achieved by the Literature and Arts Association in 2024. He suggested that the Association should strengthen the organization of artists to study and research documents of Party congresses at all levels; the viewpoints, principles, and leadership mottos of the Party on literature and art; respect, preserve and promote traditional values; build and develop new values of culture, literature and art of ethnic minorities; organize well creative camps and field trips to create more quality works...

On this occasion, the Literature and Arts Association awarded prizes to the winners of the two contests "Dien Bien in my heart" and "The beauty of Dien Bien soldiers"; presented the "For the cause of Vietnamese literature and arts" commemorative medal to 5 individuals; admitted 5 new members; congratulated members on their longevity and awarded certificates of merit to collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in literary and artistic activities in 2024./.
