Specifically, the above capital is the investor's own capital, the project will focus on the items of renovating and expanding the aircraft parking lot to increase the total number of aircraft parking positions from 6 to 9 Code C parking positions; construction progress, project completion and putting into use within 12 months, from the date of completion of site clearance, land allocation and construction permit issuance.

Along with approving the investment policy for the Vinh airport upgrade project with the above total investment, the People's Committee of Nghe An province also approved the Airports Corporation of Vietnam (ACV) as the investor to implement the project to expand and renovate the aircraft parking lot of Vinh International Airport.

The project is implemented at Nghi Lien commune (Vinh city, Nghe An), the land area used is about 6 hectares belonging to the Air Defense - Air Force Service temporarily handed over to the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam to implement the project of building apron, HDK terminal and radar station; the expanded area of more than 2.62 hectares belongs to the land of Division 371 of the Air Defense - Air Force Service transferred to the province for management.
