Colors of Vietnam at ASEAN Family Day 2024

On December 13, the ASEAN Committee in Islamabad (ACI) organized ASEAN Family Day 2024 with the participation of officials, staff and families of ASEAN embassies in Pakistan.

ASEAN Committee in Islamabad, Pakistan (ACI) organizes ASEAN Family Day 2024.

This is an annual foreign exchange, cultural and culinary activity organized to strengthen connection, sharing, solidarity and friendship among ASEAN Embassies in Pakistan.

Attending the event were Ambassadors and Chargés d'Affaires of 7 countries of the ASEAN - ACI Committee including Vietnam, Brunei, Philippines, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand and Myanmar, along with a large number of officials and staff of the Embassies of the 7 member countries and a number of local guests.

The event took place in an exciting and vibrant atmosphere with the enthusiastic participation of teams from 7 ASEAN Embassies in Pakistan. The games were diverse and rich with attractive gifts.

Games at the event include: Amazing Race (in which teams will complete puzzles at 7 checkpoints in the shortest time), fishing games, kayak games, soccer, etc.

In the joyful, exciting and fun atmosphere, all participants, especially the children, were extremely excited to participate in the games.

The event took place in an exciting and vibrant atmosphere with the enthusiastic participation of teams from 7 Embassies of ASEAN countries.

At the end of the exchange, the Embassy members and their families enjoyed traditional dishes from ASEAN countries brought to the event such as chicken sticky rice (Vietnam), tomyum (Thailand), Bakso (Indonesia), Roti Jala and Curry (Brunei),...

ASEAN Family Day 2024 was a great success and a warm event. All 7 ACI member countries took souvenir photos together in their national costumes to further promote the image of ASEAN to the local community.

Embassies of various countries introduced their rich cuisine at the event.
