On behalf of Minister Bui Thanh Son and officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs , Deputy Minister Le Anh Tuan sent greetings to Ambassador Chea Kimtha and all officers and staff of the Cambodian Embassy in Vietnam and their families for a new year filled with joy and happiness.

The Deputy Minister expressed his joy at seeing that thanks to the foundation built by President Hun Sen and generations of Cambodian leaders, the Cambodian people have achieved many great achievements in national construction and development.

Deputy Minister Le Anh Tuan expressed his belief that the positive results from the high-level meeting between the Politburo of the Communist Party of Vietnam and the Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the Cambodian People's Party, as well as the high-level meeting of the three parties of Vietnam - Laos - Cambodia in February 2025, will soon be materialized, contributing to deepening the good neighborly relations, traditional friendship, comprehensive cooperation, long-term sustainability between the two countries, for the benefit of the people and contributing to regional and global peace, stability, and cooperation.

In addition to the desire to continue to closely coordinate with the Embassy, promoting upcoming major activities, the Deputy Minister highly appreciated the contributions of Ambassador Chea Kimtha in the past time, when there were many activities supporting high-level delegation exchanges, promoting cooperation between ministries, branches, localities of the two countries and people-to-people exchanges. With the extensive experience and good feelings of Ambassador Chea Kimtha for Vietnam, according to the Deputy Minister, the Ambassador will continue to pay attention to and promote the good neighborly relations, traditional friendship, comprehensive cooperation, long-term sustainability of the two countries.

The Deputy Minister also hopes that right after Chol Chhnam Thmey, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Embassy will coordinate for major events such as welcoming President Hun Sen to attend the 50th Anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 2025), organizing the 21st meeting of the Vietnam-Cambodia Joint Committee on Economic, Cultural, Scientific and Technical Cooperation and the 13th Conference on Cooperation and Development of Vietnam-Cambodia Border Provinces in Cambodia.

For her part, Cambodian Ambassador to Vietnam Chea Kimtha thanked Deputy Minister Le Anh Tuan for coming on behalf of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to congratulate the traditional Cambodian New Year, considering it an honor not only for the Ambassador but also for the staff of the Embassy; and at the same time congratulated the remarkable achievements that Vietnam has achieved in recent times.

Ambassador Chea Kimtha agreed with Deputy Minister Le Anh Tuan's viewpoint, affirming that she will continue to closely coordinate with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to improve the effectiveness of foreign affairs, contributing to strengthening the friendship and solidarity between the two countries.

On this occasion, Ambassador Chea Kimtha expressed his thanks to the Vietnamese ministries, departments and agencies for creating favorable conditions, paying attention and coordinating with the Embassy to ensure effective activities and work. The Cambodian Embassy is always ready to coordinate in all events and issues that both countries are interested in and implement.

On the occasion of the traditional Chol Chnam Thmay New Year, Ambassador Chea Kimtha sent New Year greetings to the Vietnamese leaders, Foreign Minister Bui Thanh Son and all officers and staff of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for a new year of peace and happiness.
